Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: October 5, 2026
In short: AI Girlmates is free to read because companies pay us. Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you click one and sign up or buy something, the company may pay us a commission. Some companies also pay to be listed, featured or promoted on the site. You never pay more because of this — the price is the same as going to the company directly.
This page explains how those relationships work, how they can affect what you see here, and how to recognise them. It applies to every page of aigirlmates.com in every language.
How AI Girlmates makes money
We earn money in two ways:
- Affiliate commissions. Many of the AI companion apps and tools we cover run affiliate programs. When you use one of our links and then subscribe, buy tokens or make another purchase, the company may pay us a share of that payment, a fixed fee or a bonus for the referral.
- Paid listings and promotion. Companies can pay for a listing in our directory, for featured placement, for highlighted badges, or for promotion elsewhere on the site, including guest articles. Current options are described on our Add Your Tool page.
This income pays for our writers, testing subscriptions, hosting and translations into nine languages.
Affiliate links
Most links to the products we review go through a short redirect on our own domain, in the form aigirlmates.com/go/product-name. That redirect lets the company know the visit came from us. Buttons such as “Visit”, “Try it” or “Get started” on review pages are usually affiliate links, and so are many product links inside articles and comparison lists.
In the page code, these links carry the attribute rel="sponsored nofollow", which tells search engines they are commercial.
Using an affiliate link never costs you anything extra. We do not see your payment details, and the purchase is always made with the company, under its own terms and privacy policy.
Paid listings, featured placement and sponsored content
Some products appear in our directory, in “featured” spots, in highlighted positions on the home page, or as suggested alternatives on other review pages because their makers paid for that visibility. Guest articles may also be paid for by, or written on behalf of, a third party.
Paid placement affects where and how often a product is shown. It does not buy a product a better score, and companies cannot edit or approve our reviews before they are published.
How this affects our reviews and rankings
Our reviews, scores and “best of” lists are our own opinion, based on testing the products and on publicly available information. We cover products whether or not they have an affiliate program, and an affiliate relationship is never a reason to rate a product higher.
We also tell you about the weak points of products we earn money from — limits of free plans, pricing traps, privacy concerns. If you think a review is unfair or out of date, tell us and we will check it.
How to recognise a commercial link or placement
- The link points to aigirlmates.com/go/… before it reaches the company’s website.
- It is a call-to-action button on a review or in a comparison table.
- The listing is marked as featured or carries a highlight badge.
- The link has rel="sponsored" in the page source.
If you prefer not to use our links, you can always type the company’s address into your browser yourself.
Why we tell you this
